Open the Administration application.
Select the Static Data tab on the left of the window.
Select the Qualifications tab displayed at the top of the window. The Qualifications window will be displayed see below.
Existing qualifications will be listed on the left of the window.

To add a new qualification, click on the qualification name field in the middle of the window. Enter the description of the qualification.
If the qualification attracts pay for the employee and/or additional charges for the customer where the qualification is attached to either the employee or the post, tab to the Qualification PB code field and select the relevant PB code from the drop down list.
If the qualification attracts pay for the employee and/or additional charges for the customer only where the qualification is attached to both the employee and the post, tab to the Matched PB code field and select the relevant PB code from the drop down list.
If the qualification does not result in additional pay or billing the two PBCodes fields should be left blank.
If you want to make the qualification compulsory at an application level where it is attached to a post/location combination, leave the Can be Overridden tick box empty.
If the qualification is for advisory purposes only, click on the Can be Overridden box.
To save the new qualification, click on the ‘Save’ button, the data will be saved and the new qualification will be displayed in the list on the left of the window.
The data will remain displayed in the input fields.
If you wish to add another new qualification, click on the 'New' button. The data will be saved and displayed in the list on the left of the window, the input fields will be cleared for new data.
