Creating Reason Descriptions

Open the Administration application.

Select the Static Data tab on the left of the window.

Select the Reasons tab displayed at the top of the window.  

Click on the Description field below the All Reasons list.

Enter the description for your new reason

Click on the Short Desc. Field and enter the short name for the Reason.

This value will be used throughout the application whenever this reason is used.

Click on the 'Save' button above the All Reasons list to save the new reason.

The reason will now be displayed in the list above.

To add another reason description at this time, click on the 'New' button above the All Reasons list.

The application will save the reason displayed and create a new blank record for you to complete.
