Be default when sending emails from within PeopleHours a Gallinet server will be used.
Although you can specify a "reply to" email address to be used on sent emails some mail services will not allow emails configured like this to be delivered.
Clients can therefore specify their own email settings within PeopleHours so that all email communications are sent via their own mail servers or those provided by their ISP or Domain provider.
Each branch has it's own SMTP server settings.
Clicking the Configure Email Settings button will open the following screen.

To use your own server details the following information must be provided.
Smtp Server / IP Address |
Enter the server details provided by your email provider. |
Port |
Enter the port number provided by your email provider. |
Username |
The username provided for your email provider for the account. (Note, this is not your PeopleHours account username) |
Password |
The password provided for your email provider for the account. (Note, this is not your PeopleHours account password) |
Disable or Enable SSL |
Set as directed by your email provider. |
Once you have configured the email server details you can send a test email to confirm it's functioning correctly.
Specify a To Email address and a From Email address and click Test Connection.
