Sending a Message to an Employee

If an employee record contains contact information the system can be used to send an SMS or Email from the WorkMonitor screen within PeopleHours™.

 

NOTE: - The use of message functions within PeopleHours™ may result in additional charges depending on your license agreement. Users are advised to check for themselves the consequences of use before proceeding.

 

To send a message from the WorkMonitor Screen

 

Select the call line and employee that you wish to receive the message.

Click the "Send Message" button located at the top of the screen and the message options screen will display.

(Note: If the "Send Message" option is greyed out you do not have the required roles to use this function.)

 

Select the messaging method required

Add the message content

Click "Notify"

A message confirmation box will be displayed detailing the total number of Emails and or SMS messages that will be sent as a result of your selection options. You can click "Back" to change your selection choices or "Cancel" to stop the wizard completely.

 

Clicking "Send" will result in the message being sent to the employee by SMS, Email or both depending on the method you selected.

A record of all messages sent is maintained and available in the report functions.
