This window is used to determine the time capture device to be used.
To set up the time windows to be used by the monitoring application for book ons/offs and check calls where appropriate.
This window is also used to define when check calls are to be made for each day/post combination where appropriate.
Public Holiday specific check calls are set up on a separate line at the bottom of the table.
Select the Time Capture tab at the top of the window.
Select the contract from the Contract drop down list.
Select the Post from the Post drop down list.
Select the Time Capture device to be used from the drop down list.
The options are:
Any events created for the selected post will not be monitored, i.e. the application will not generate any calls for WorkMonitor or CallTaker against the events for the selected post.
The application will create Book Ons/Offs and check Call for all events created for the selected post. These calls will be monitored using the WorkMonitor application and the employees can make automatic calls using the CallTaker application.
The application will create Book Ons/Offs only for the events created for the selected posts. These calls will be monitored using TimeCap, a third party time and attendance capture application. (Note, being obsolete technology Gallinet provides no support for the TimeCap application or any other 3rd party devices)
The ON, OFF and CHK window values displayed when you select CallTaker or TimeCap are the defaults set up when your database was initialised.
These values can be changed if necessary for each post.
Next modify the time windows for book ons, book offs and check calls if required by entering the number of minutes required in the Before and After fields against each call type.
Click on the ‘Save’ button to the right of the fields to save the changes.
Call Pre and Post Time Windows
|Example:||Book on Window: Before set to 15 and After set to 10 will mean that the automatic call logging application will accept a book on call within a 25 minute time window.|
The Employee Create (CT Create) is explained fully within it's own section of the manual.
The Auto Allocate function is used if you want the CallTaker application to populate an unallocated event if an employee calls in at the correct time, click on the ‘Auto Allocate Enabled’ box and a tick will appear.
If not leave it blank. (Note: This function is controlled at the database level, if it has not been activated for your installation, the box and label will be greyed out.)
The Overdue Off Call Visible function field is used to determine how long OFF calls remain displayed once they are overdue in the WorkMonitor application.
If you leave the field blank, they will be displayed until they are manually taken.
The ‘Auto Take’ function is used to enable the WorkMonitor application to automatically take and clear down ON and/or OFF calls once they become due.
To use this function, click on the relevant box and a tick will appear. If you do not wish to use this function, leave the boxes blank.
(Note: This function is controlled at the database level, if it has not been activated for your installation, the box and label will be greyed out.)
The Multi-Take Check Calls function is explained fully within it's own section of the manual.
Check Call Table
To add a specific time for a check call, enter the time in the ‘Add New Call Time’ field on the top line of the box towards the bottom left of the window and then click on the ‘Create Call Time(s)’ button.
Your check call time will be displayed in the grid in the center of the window with CHK displayed against each day.
To create check calls for every day to be made hourly at 15 minutes past the hour, select the first field in the second line of the box in the bottom left of the window and enter 1.
Then select the second field and type 15. The line should now read:
‘Create call for each day every 1 hours at 15 minutes past'
Click on the ‘Create Call Times’ button. The application will now display the check call grid with CHK displayed in every cell and the call time at the top of each column.
If you need to remove a call for a specific time on a specific day/s, highlight the call to be removed by clicking on the relevant cell with the mouse and then clicking on the ‘Remove’ button.
You can select multiple records to be removed at the same time by clicking on the relevant cells.
If you need to remove all of the calls made at a particular time every day, highlight the time at the top of the column and click on the ‘Remove’ button.
Any changes made in the Time Capture screen will cause any affected existing events to be automatically updated.
Note : All customers of Gallinet's monitoring service will have CT OUT calls set to on for the employees mobile number by default when a new post is created.
Clients can of course change the settings after a new post is created.
