TimeCap a web based worker clocking system used in Nursing Homes.

TimeCap provides nursing homes a biometric clocking system where administration and reports utilises the web based sophistication of peoplehours™ .

Reliant Consulting Services UK Ltd (RCS) has been developing Time and Attendance systems for over 20 years. Our emphasis is quality of service, customer care, ease of use, reliability and competitive pricing.

We are a Microsoft Certified Partner and a Member of the Registered Nursing Home Association.

peoplehours™ is a workforce management system that can be used for scheduling employees, planning time off, recording absence, ensuring minimum cover, record actual hours worked, produce time sheets and automatically calculate gross pay and export to Payroll such as Sage™.  Choose to schedule staff in advance or allow employees to create their own duties as they arrive for work.

Our systems have been designed to be flexible, accurate and easy to use. TimeCap™ includes features such as fire control information and recording of visitors to the premises as required by the Nursing and Care Home Industry.

Managing your staff is no simple matter and relying on manual time sheets to report hours worked is time-consuming, open to abuse and prone to error.  If just one employee is paid 5 minutes extra a shift that is over 20 hours per year per employee.

As staff report for duty they simply clock in, record breaks, and then clock off using touch screen technology. They can look at their time sheets showing work done or work planned in the future. The system creates an accurate electronic time sheet of which job, where, when, the hours worked and accurately calculates Gross pay.

If you have more than home then the consolidation of data from many sources can be difficult and even more time consuming.  peoplehours™ will dramatically reduce costs, increase employee productivity and deliver effective control and accuracy of the scheduling, hours worked and payroll process.

peoplehours™ is built using industry standard Microsoft technology and web architecture, which ensures it is fully scalable, rapid deployment and low total cost of ownership. It has been designed to be flexible, accurate and easy to use for the Nursing and Care Home Industry, including such features as fire control reports and control of visitors to the premises.

Key Benefits:

Biometric clocking on solution

TimeCap™ offers a selection of biometric options for clocking on; Face Recognition or Hand Shape which are used in conjunction with a PIN number entered into a TimeCap™ unit, allowing you to keep a precise track of your employee hours. When this is connected via the web to peoplehours™ you have a powerful scheduling, time management tool as well as the ability to calculate employee pay.

While many places of work are happy with a standard TimeCap unit- which just identifies an employee with a unique PIN number; our face recognition system actually compares against faces held in the database to give a report of who booked on with a face it does not recognise. This allows the admin user to decide if that face should be added to the database or if it is evidence of 'buddy punching'.

TimeCap and face recognition

TimeCap™, time attendance system has facial recognition biometric ability which when used can have a dramatic effect on reducing buddy punching, without having to resort to cards or RF devices that could be loaned out or lost. Cards and devices can go wrong or wear out, if that happens the employee has a real problem booking in which can cause a nightmare when it comes to working out the employee hours.

When an employee books on with a PIN number the face is captured and compared against faces stored for that employee, if there is a failure the system books the person on but keeps a record of 'failed' faces for review by the administrator of the TimeCap™ machine, where approbate action can be taken.

The main advantage of a facial recognition biometrics over other biometric system (such as fingerprint or retina) is that it's easy to confirm if it really is the person from the snapshot or an irregularity has occurred and the possibility of identifying the guilty party.

Why Face Recognition?

Face recognition has one distinct advantage over other biometric clocking on solutions- it can easily cope with failure.

If an employee attempts to clock in or out with a palm, retina or fingerprint and it fails to match what happens? If it's a genuine problem chances are you will have a very frustrated employee.

With face recognition from TimeCap  a failure to match means that the employee can book on or off as normal but the face is captured where it can be reviewed at a later date.
