Data usage

The TelMe app requires the usage of data transfers, either mobile data or Wi-Fi.

Typical usage, viewing schedules, conducting patrols, booking on and off etc. would usually result in very little data being transmitted however the following possible exceptions should be noted:

 

Photos attached to incidents

Depending on the camera settings on the device used photo files can be large. The data used to send a photo to PeopleHours™ will equal the file size.

 

Viewing Employee ID and Location Photos

The data used will equal the file size of the image being viewed.

 

Viewing documents

Documents viewed from within the app such as Assignment Instructions will result in data being used equal to the file size being downloaded / uploaded.

 

Mobile WorkMonitor

The WorkMonitor page automatically refreshes, if this is left running for an extended period the data used will be higher.
